This month, I planned a Robertson Davies Reading Weekend to take place around the author’s birthdate of August 28. It was a lovely long weekend of reading and discussing his wonderful books with fellow aficionados, and I hope it introduced him to some new readers. You can find all the details in the wrap-up post.
Otherwise, I feel as though this month has been somehow extra long and took me on some amazing journeys near and far (in the pages of a book, that is). It was a good time to look back over my Around the World reading project and remember all of the fascinating places that I’ve visited.
Where has your reading taken you this month?

Ooo I hope you enjoyed A Song of Summer as much as I did – A lovely tale. While my reading took me on quite a journey from rural Ireland and Yorkshire in The Cottingley Secret, to the sleepy Cotswolds in another Agatha Raisin mystery and finally to Germany during the great religious reformation of the 16th century. I am quite tuckered out! Happy reading in September, Lory. 😃

Yes, I think I read it some years ago but it was fun to read again. Sounds like you went on some amazing literary journeys.

I love traveling through books, especially now when we can’t travel/choose not to because of the risks. In August I got to travel back in time to the Revolutionary War in Rebel Spy. I also traveled to one of my favorite cities–Seattle in Today Tonight Tomorrow. Both of these books ended up being my favorites of the month.

Thank goodness we can still travel through books. I looked at Today Tonight Tomorrow and it looks like a lot of fun.

This was fun! Great characters and a fun plot. If you also like rom coms and enemies to more, you will enjoy.
