Welcome to the September Wrap-Up Round-Up Giveaway! If you haven’t already, go visit the monthly wrap-up post linkup hosted by Feed Your Fiction Addiction, and then come back here for a chance to win some of my favorite accessories that keep your books “wrapped up” in style. The picture below will show you what I mean…

A couple of years ago I went looking for some durable, attractive cloth covers to help protect my books from bumps and stains, since I carry them everywhere inside and outside the house. I came across Gotcha Covered (clothbookcovers.com) and decided to buy a set of three of Cathy Holberg’s beautiful handmade covers in various sizes. I liked them so much I bought another set! I use them all the time, and appreciate how they keep my books in great shape, while pleasing my eyes with their colorful fabric patterns, and even keeping my place with a built-in bookmark.

When the chance came to sponsor this giveaway, I immediately thought of Cathy’s covers and asked her if she’d like to offer a set. I was delighted that she said yes, and even more delighted that she has generously offered three different sets, which you can see above. All of the covers are the Small size (10 inches by 7.25 inches, flat) and will fit most small standard paperbacks. Note that the cotton material does not stretch, so it shouldn’t be forced to fit books that are too large.

Gotcha Covered products are made by hand with great care here in the US. Browse clothbookcovers.com to see the other sizes and fabric patterns on offer; there’s even a cover for your e-reader! They make great gifts too. So now that I’ve whetted your appetite for these lovely covers, here are some rules:

  • Due to shipping costs, this giveaway is limited to US and Canada addresses only.
  • Anyone age 18 and older can enter; you do not need to have a post linked in the monthly Wrap-Up Round-Up.
  • Visit and comment on posts in the link-up to earn more entries. You can do this once per day, as long as you visit a different post each time.
  • Three different winners will be chosen and will each receive one of the book cover sets pictured above (which set will be chosen at random).
  • The giveaway will close at midnight on October 13. Winners will be contacted by email and must respond within 48 hours or another winner will be chosen.

To enter, just fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!

    • I do hope there are some of those left out there! (These are good for library books too, I would say.)

  1. Shannon

I am loving these covers! I typically have a book with me wherever I go – these offer great protection and are beautiful as well.

    • I have to confess that I didn’t even think of the “wrap-up” angle when I had the idea…I was just looking for something a bit different. But then I realized that it was indeed the perfect tie-in.

  2. Those are major adorbs!! I love how they have a built-in bookmark. My bookmarks get ruined so easily.
I have a cover for my kindle, though it’s not really the right one for it, it still fits.
My books I generally don’t cover. My hardcovers I do take the book jackets off when reading so they don’t get ruined. I hate my books getting frayed and old looking, even if from reading over and over. Might be a good solution to the problem!
    Thanks for the generous giveaway!!

    • I can never hang on to bookmarks long enough to get through a whole book. That’s why I love these.

  3. Oh, these are marvelous! I’ve already picked one out at the site to order for my mom for Christmas. I might get a larger one for my daughter, too. And maybe one for me.

I used to wrap my romances when I took them out and about. I had a sort of soft fake-leather book cover that fit them pretty well. But it disappeared some time ago. My Kindle Paperwhite has one of the magnetic-closure covers – open the cover and it turns itself on. It’s functional and protects the Kindle pretty well, but it’s not pretty. I’m a hybrid reader – some ebooks, some print books. I could use these in several sizes, for hardcovers, trade paperback, and standard paperback. I think I’ll put some on my wish list!

    • I’m so glad you found them appealing! As I’ve said before, I’m confident you’ll like the real thing even more.

  4. I am loving these!! They’re such a good idea and have turned out gorgeous <3 I'd enter in a heartbeat were the giveaway international so instead I might just look into buying something

  5. Those eread covers look great. I would probably misplace mine daily since I am constantly on my kindle. I loose everything else. Great giveaway!

  6. I bought a nice cover for my e-reader because I am so afraid I will drop and break it. But I don’t usually wrap my books up. If I had some nice covers like the ones in the giveaway then I might start wrapping them. These covers also seem like they would be a nice gift for someone who loves books!

    • I got them to put on some of my nicer hardcovers, but I’ve ended up using them for everything! And they would make great gifts — they come nicely packaged too.
