Blog vacation

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with blogging on top of various life responsibilities, not to mention trying to get some actual reading done, so I’m going to take a short break following my monthly wrap-up on Sunday. I’ll be back after Labor Day, hopefully with renewed energy and reading zest!

Here are just a few of the books that are calling to me:

Is the end of summer also finding you somewhat stressed? What are you excited about reading right now?

  1. Girl Waits with Gun has been calling to me, too! I’m not familiar with your other choices, but they look intriguing. Have a great break, and I’ll look forward to what you have to say about these books!

  2. Conversely, I’m finding it difficult to keep up with my reviews what with having several books under my belt and several more on the go! Perhaps I should stop reading till I catch up?!

Still, have an enjoyable break, and look forward to hearing from you soon!

    • Stop reading? Never! Mini reviews can help with getting through a backlog, if you’re willing to forego full reviews for some books.

  3. Have a great break Lory!

I also get overwhelmed and cannot put enough time and energy into blogging as I would like. Sometimes one needs to just slow down.

  4. I’ve been feeling a little stressed out as well, so totally get that it’s time to take a little vacation from blogging! I might follow soon! It looks like you have lots of great reading to do which is fantastic. See you when you get back! 🙂

  5. I know just what you mean. I recently took a break too. We moved and then a month later I became a grandma for the first time, so I was all in a whirl. It is good to recognize when you need to regroup. Enjoy your time off.

  6. Enjoy the blog vacation! I don’t have much of a schedule that I stick to, so I’ve been known to go a week or so without blogging. I used to apologize for it constantly, but then I realized that life gets hectic for all of us and that we just do what we can when there’s time. I hope you enjoy your upcoming reads and have a nice blog break. 🙂
